APT Tunes

About the Journal

We invite you to contribute your article to the online edition of the journal APT Tunes (http://apttunes.aptkerala.org), a publication of the Academy of Physics Teachers, Kerala. APT Tunes publishes, under different sections, technical as well as popular articles, aimed at enhancing the teaching-learning of physics. The anticipated readers are teachers, students and enthusiasts of physics. Authors can contribute articles to the following sections of the journal:
• Special Theme (To be announced for each issue)
• Conversations in Physics (Discussion of conceptual issues in theoretical physics)
• Notes from History (Semi-technical historical introductions to different physics topics)
• Current Research (Popular article exploring latest research and introducing research areas)
• Explorations in the Lab (Ways to improvise physics experiments)
• Physics Work Out (Discussion of problems from major examinations)
• Book Review (Review of general books and text books on physics)
• Classroom (Innovative ways to teach specific topics)
• Skill Set (Tutorials for enhancing skills of students and teachers)

Submissions to the journal can be made at http://apttunes.aptkerala.org/ by registering at the site. Instructions regarding submissions are made available at the menu About/Submissions. The manuscript should be prepared in LaTeX using the sample document provided at Overleaf.com. The LaTeX source of the sample can be copied and pasted onto a blank .tex file and used. The sample document includes typical instances of LaTeX environments and elements.
