Shitikantha Prasad Mishra completed his B.Sc in Physics from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha in 2015. He has two gold medals to his credit as the topper of the department and the best graduate of the university. He obtained his M.Sc in Physics from Pondycherry University, Puducherry where he secured the 1^st position in the department in the year 2017.

He is currently working as a scientific officer at NPCIL, Kudankum after the completion of one year training in Reactor Physics at BARC Training School at IGCAR, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu. He is a responsible part of the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, design, and commissioning of the various nuclear reactors at Kudankulam. Moreover, he has spirited interest in Physics with stronger inclination towards quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, electromagnetic theory and mathematical physics.
